OUR PHILOSOPHY

Professional German Shepherd Breeder in Romania

A place dedicated to the passion for this noble breed — a community where every dog is raised with care, respect and responsibility.

Casa Di Arancina's activity is not commercial, but guided by values: balance, health and the dog's usefulness in human life. We do not breed industrially. The term "kennel" is used exclusively in the sense of an FCI-registered affix.

Every puppy comes from carefully selected lines, with authentic pedigree and potential for training, work or family life. Raised in a balanced environment, with early socialization as a priority.

WHAT SETS US APART

Many breed German Shepherd puppies. Few do it truly responsibly.

Casa di Arancina meets the strict requirements set by CNGG and SV Germany. We ensure that only the healthiest and strongest dogs are bred to produce a robust and healthy breed.

Our dogs hold breeding rights and authentic pedigrees. We ensure total transparency and complete documentation for every dog, including all necessary certificates.

We don't promise guaranteed results. We work with a clear process, transparency at every stage and data-driven decisions. If a direction doesn't work, we say so and correct it.

Data-driven selection

Every pairing is documented: inbreeding coefficient, HD/ED results, titles achieved, longevity in the line.

ENS protocol applied systematically

Puppies grow up in the house, with daily human contact, exposed to varied stimuli from the first week of life.

Total transparency

We show the parents' tests, the family tree and the breeding conditions. We have nothing to hide.

WHY CASA DI ARANCINA

Character is demonstrated, not promised in descriptions

Casa Di Arancina collaborates with some of the most serious kennels in Europe — relationships built on mutual respect, common standards and proven results. Access to bloodlines with real international track records doesn't come from catalogs, but from years of active involvement in the breed world.

The German Shepherd raised here has nerve, stability and natural drives — qualities visible in IGP, protection and tracking. We don't select for appearance. We select for character, health and what the breeding stock transmits generation after generation. The wolf dog, as it is popularly known, is not just a beautiful dog — it is a functional one.

  • Breeding stock tested HD/ED with A or B results — dysplasia is not a lottery here, it's an eliminatory criterion
  • FCI pedigree with verifiable family tree — every dog has a documented history, not just a name on paper
  • Proven working character — IGP, protection and tracking — natural drives, not showcase morphology
  • Collaborations with recognized European kennels — access to bloodlines with real international track records
  • Intensive early socialization — raised in the house, ENS protocol applied systematically from the first week
  • Continuous involvement — training, nutrition, competition preparation and a community of serious people who respect the breed

compromises in selection — quality is non-negotiable

OUR PRINCIPLES

Four things that define our kennel

There is no universal recipe for raising a good German Shepherd. But there are a few things we never negotiate — regardless of context, demand or current trends. We call them principles because they function as such: they are not rules imposed from outside, but convictions formed from years of experience with the breed.

01

Values-driven activity

Casa Di Arancina's activity is not commercial, but guided by values: balance, health and the German Shepherd's usefulness in human life. We do not breed industrially. The term "kennel" is used exclusively in the sense of an FCI-registered affix.

02

Responsible selection and breeding

Every puppy born here comes from carefully selected lines, with authentic pedigree and outstanding potential for training, work or family life. Puppies grow in a balanced environment where early socialization and attention to individual needs are priorities.

03

A close circle, not a marketplace

Occasionally, selected families or individuals may become part of our breeding programs. The choice is not random — it is a process based on trust, shared values and active involvement in the breed's welfare.

04

Getting to know each other first

If you share respect for this breed and believe in a responsible approach, we invite you to get to know us. There are no forms to fill out or waiting lists. There is only a conversation about shared values.

LET'S TALK

A conversation about the breed costs nothing

If you're curious about the German Shepherd — whether you want to understand the breed better, find out what responsible breeding involves, or simply talk to someone who lives with these dogs every day — write to us. Guidance is free and without any obligation on your part.

We're not selling you a dog. We're offering you an honest perspective.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What serious people ask about the German Shepherd

At what age should a puppy leave and what documents should it have?
A German Shepherd puppy should not leave its natal environment before 8 weeks — this period is critical for behavioral development. Ideally, departure is between 8-10 weeks. Every dog must have an FCI pedigree, health booklet with vaccinations and deworming completed, registered microchip and veterinary certificate. Any serious breeder should provide these documents without exception.
What does HD A/B mean and why should it matter to you?
HD (hip dysplasia) and ED (elbow dysplasia) are common orthopedic conditions in large dogs. Radiological testing is mandatory for any responsible breeder. Results A and B confirm normal joints or minimal changes. You should refuse any dog whose parents don't have these certificates — the risk of dysplasia in offspring increases significantly without data-driven selection.
What is the ENS protocol and why should every breeder apply it?
ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) is a protocol applied between day 3 and day 16 of life. It should be standard in any serious kennel — early neurological stimulation produces dogs with greater emotional stability, superior adaptability and better stress tolerance. These are essential qualities for both family life and training, IGP and competition.
How should you choose between working line and show line?
You should start from your lifestyle, not from visual preference. The working line has high drive and pronounced instinct — suitable for sport, advanced training and IGP. The show line has conformation closer to the standard and a calmer temperament — suitable for exhibitions or family. You must be honest with yourself about how much energy and time you can invest — a working dog in an unsuitable environment is not fair for the dog or for you.

FCI pedigree issuance depends on the national club's administrative procedures and may take a few weeks after litter registration.
